They Say It’s Spring

Music: Brazilian Girls – Looking for Love
Mood: Tipsy

So this weekend had the website going all over the place, full of contradictions and mess-ups. I take responsibility, mainly for the fact that I had (A) way too many interfering webpage plug-ins and (B) had absolutely no idea it was happening until it was too late. Of course, buy then, the page deleted almost all of the content! The shop was okay, though, and so people successfully visited and admired the items while completely denouncing the price.

“Oh, I can get that on Temu!”

You do that you yellow-bellied sapsucker. *eyeroll*

On the plus side, I did manage to make this.

A 16x14mm Crystal Passions® prismatic hexagon—Majestic Blue foil back—encased in six Tila beads. 11/0 and 8/0 Toho beads accentuate the piece. If you look closely, you can see the thread in the Tila beads, an error on my part because I did have white beading thread but didn't think of it until waaaay later XD
Lovely thing no. 492084

I usually head to Pinterest to look for inspiration, and I found this lovely pattern for a lovely lil’ snowflake-ish pendant. Although the original pattern called for a 16mm rivoli/chanton, I used a 16x14mm Crystal Passions® prismatic hexagon—Majestic Blue foil back, courtesy of Fire Mountain Beads. Sadly, they are out of stock, so I have no idea when they will be selling it.

The title of the pattern is “Once Upon A Time,” and apparently belongs to Ms Gunta from her moonperl blogspot site.

The bail strip was my idea. The original pattern had the bail behind the piece, and I’m like, nah. Two-bead herringbone made things quick.

It’s not for sale just yet, considering I need to make a matching rope. 😀

In the meanwhile, I made a new social media place:
