Once Upon a Time, There Was a Moose
He was a very clever moose — one might say a crafty one — who made amazing objects of art, many of which were wearable and quite lovely.
And then with one thing leading to another, there was a website, and it was supposed to be the perfect place to find all of the moose’s crafty things both past and future.
But then technology happened, like it always does, and the website was sad and got a serious case of the sniffles and didn’t want to play anymore until it felt better.
And that’s where we are right now.
Feel free to peruse until we get this wretched case of ComPewter sickness out of the way. Thanks!

Beading techniques that goes back thousands of years, with some examples found as far back as Ancient Egypt, have been in constant use throughout the centuries. About
The Sublime Art of Creation
It’s really all about string theory, or rather, the things you can theoretically do with string. I experimented with fractal art in the early ’00s, and then I started knitting after my father’s passing in 2006. That was the gateway drug to crochet, and then the Covid Lockdown inspired my foray into beading.
I consider myself a technique agnostic: I’m willing to try any method or style if it will accomplish the artistic expression I’m going for. It’s easy to whip out a shawl or blanket or a few dozen pairs of earrings based on patterns and charts, but the really fascinating stuff – the art that speaks to your soul – seems to emerge from my hands of its own accord.
